1 (15oz) package Raisin Bran cereal
3 cups sugar
5 cups flour
5 teaspoons soda
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup oil
1 quart buttermilk
4 beaten eggs
Mix raisin bran, sugar, flour, soda and salt.
Add oil, buttermilk and eggs.
Bake in greased muffin pans at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or less.
Batter can be stored covered in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
Take out and use just how much you need.
You can make your own buttermilk: add 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice with milk to make one cup. Let the milk mixture sit out for 5 minutes before using.
