Pumpkin Cake


Pumpkin Cake

Ingredients:
1 yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 small can pumpkin
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
dash cloves
1/2-1 cup chopped nuts, if desired


     


Preparation:
Combine ingredients, mixing until thoroughly blended.
Bake in greased bundt or tube pan at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes, or until done.


Note:
Cream cheese frosting is good on this cake. I’ve used vanilla frosting also. It’s pretty to make in a bundt cake pan, Frost with white frosting of some kind, and sprinkle with a few chopped nuts. I usually leave the nuts out of the batter. Nan bakes this in 2 loaf pans and serves it as pumpkin bread.

It freezes well and is very inexpensive to make if you buy the off brand products like I do! This cake is extremely moist. That’s what makes it so good.
