1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 or 2 cans tomatoes with green chilies, or tomatoes with lime juice and cilantro
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Mix together and serve with tortilla chips.
I usually only have 1 can of tomatoes and green chilies in stock when I make this, but 2 cans would be good. Also, add the cumin and garlic powder to taste. I like spicy food, so I usually use 2 teaspoons of each.
Also, you can add 1 small can of chopped green chilies if you want. I usually don’t. Tammy N. gave me this recipe. It’s sure a lot cheaper than buying salsa!
